Hardu Tomlinson

Managing Director

Hardu is a co-founder, co-funder, and major shareholder of Nepsa Energy. He has at least 13 years’ experience in Hydropower Project Development and 20 years’ experience which includes Capital Raising and Investment (both in Private and Public Financial Markets). He worked with teams of legal, financial and technical experts on project feasibilities totalling at least 90 MW (15 Hydro Projects). He has overseen two hydro projects through project approval and licensing phases and a hydro plant through to commissioning. Hardu has facilitated and participated in structuring a corporate power purchase agreement on a small and mini-hydro project (both projects are operational). He serves on the boards of several companies related to investment holdings, capital projects and investment advisory. Hardu studied Portfolio Management and International Financial Markets and also holds a qualification in Project Finance. He is a professional member of the South African Institute of Stockbrokers and is also licensed under the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) in South Africa.

Jannie Potgieter

Legal Counsel – Land

Jannie is an Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer with at least 26 years’ experience, which includes 12 years ‘experience on legal and land aspects related to hydropower projects. He has played an integral part of Nepsa’s legal team since 2009. Jannie was admitted as an attorney in 1995.
